Neuro linguistic programming anchoring is when you heighten your mind in order to calm yourself and come in to a more peaceful state. A lot of people use this method in order to reach higher success levels or stay on top of things at work and at home.

By learning to use NLP anchoring you can enable yourself to get in to a happier mindset that is free of frustration. This can be especially helpful in the work environment or when you feel anger towards others.

Studies have even show that you can improve the outcome of using NLP anchoring by using more than one anchor to keep yourself calm and happy.

To actively practice this method all you need to do is put yourself in a state of mind where you are as happy as you were at some point in the past. Whether it be completing a tough projects, getting a promotion, becoming a parent or even winning some type of award, use what you have.
