Subliminal Suggestions Are Mostly Negative

By Trevor Johnson

Subliminal suggestions are purely suggestions that are transferred to the subconscious mind. These suggestions don't mean a thing to your conscious mind and the subconscious absorbs suggestions whatever they are and at some or other time will manifest in a person's actions such as how they behave or how they react to certain situations and may even affect their beliefs and values.

If you look up "subliminal" in an English dictionary you will note that the word if broken down into two parts meaning under and threshold in Latin and there are two different methods which are used as well.

Everything a person says is recorded quietly onto a tape or disc and it is called back masking and you can also flash written phrases down across a TV or wherever you can make the words visible and this is a 25th frame and this is flashed quickly.

Scientists have to date not been able to prove that subliminal suggestions are valid even after years of research. Some believe they work and again it's only in the eyes of the beholder. If it works great. If it doesn't you haven't lost anything.

It is said that subliminal messages appear everywhere for instance on TV as in music even in this article that I am writing now as it is said that they are hidden everywhere. It is also said that when you are addressing someone you are sending them subliminal messages unconsciously.

So what everyone is saying is that we all have the ability to communicate messages and affect everyone's subconscious minds. But you have to do this in a certain manner in order for it to be affective. What is the certain manner? You are made to buy products and articles that are advertised.

Hidden subliminal suggestions are hidden in sentences for instance "stocks are limited" or "limited edition" and the subconscious mind says run out and buy now or this is supposedly what it should do. The subconscious will accept anything you feed it and the conscious mind only accepts what it knows. - 31857
